Two blue beauties cut a geometric silhouette in this spinel ring. Both natural and untreated, the bezel-set gems are sugarloaf cut (minimal, gently bowed faceting) stones that have been set "upside down" to reveal a buff-top window into an oasis of smooth-as-silk, expressive blues. The larger of the pair is a moody indigo. As noted, this gem does have a surface fracture that truly does not detract from its allure. The smaller stone is an intense cerulean hue. A small bar of textured silver metalwork separates them, but otherwise allows these captivating gems to do all the heavy lifting.
