A 3.17-carat iolite is bezel set in the wide Frusta band. while the indigo gem and sterling silver ring shank have similar geometric character, the “sideways” orientation of the stone is highly intentional - meant to complement the Art Deco symmetry of the band. The angular metal pattern, in turn, mirrors the sharply moody facets of the stone.
