The structured silver work and symmetrical silhouette of the centerpiece are the perfect complement to the intriguing internal geometry of the stone. Weighing 25 carats, the natural dendritic quartz is deceptively layered. The unusual ink blot patterning is reminiscent of abstract watercolor with a layer of rime ice that gleams at the right angles.
The bangle is fabricated from three panels inspired by Art Deco architectural ironwork. The raised scroll design boasts a high gloss polish while the recessed areas have been selectively left with a powdery matte coating of fine silver, created by the depletion gilding of the fabrication process and giving the bracelet a subtle contrast in finish. A hinged back segment accommodates a contained sliding tube clasp, which is further reinforced by a 4" safety chain.
