Silver glistens above a pair of garnet gems in these hand fabricated sterling silver earrings that bring plenty of geometry and flash to meet old world flair. Across a rectangular frame, bars of silver have been precisely carved into geometric segments and aligned in parallel to create a pattern reminiscent of layered brick. The angle and surfacing of the arrangement catches the light in a velvet shine. Below each is a bewitching almandine garnet pear, set point down in a trio of asymmetrical prongs. The natural gems have deep color with electric red sparkle and have been faceted in the style of antique Bohemian garnet jewels of yore. The earrings affix a via post backing and measure just under an inch in length.
