Hand fabricated from sterling silver raw materials. This substantial and futuristic pendant was inspired by long exposure landscape photography of the night sky. A 49.19-ct buff top dendritic quartz pear nestles into a pleasingly domed encasement. Held in frame by six claw prongs, the smooth pavilion facet of the stone shines like a lake blanketed in fallen leaves and late fall frost. An ornamental crown of concentric circles mimics stars rotating overhead through a dark night. The Art Deco geometry of this terrestrial pendant is a surprising complement to its decidedly organic theme.
The pendant, though not overwhelming, does have some weight to it and measures approximately 2.5in long by 1in wide. It hangs from a 24in sterling silver chain.
