Two uniquely and equally decadent sides double the versatility of this statement piece.
On one side, a luxuriously large 56.80-carat lodolite-included quartz cabochon is bezel set within an Art Deco border, measuring a generous 1.25". The keystone fan element lends a compass-point symmetry while a polished silver backing contrasts the muted purple texture of the stone's inclusions. As you turn the pendant in your hand, a subtle glow passes over the mossy lodolite, a bright flash across the the silver, and the whole affect of both magnifies and contorts through the lens of the crystal clear quartz.
Flip the pendant over and a radial geometry orbits a checkerboard faceted pyrite cabochon, weighing 6.5 carats and 10mm across. On this side, the smaller but more flamboyant gem adds glamorous sparkle to the crisp ziggurat of silver work that rises to present it.
This heirloom quality pendant was fabricated entirely by the same set of hands from raw sterling silver wire and sheet stock. The stones and the silver weight combine to give it a satisfying heft.
